Good Health Advice

Everyone should recognize the importance of following simple preventive measures to improve long-term health.

Stop Smoking

If you smoke, try to stop. Smoking and exposure to many of the substances found at Hanford may increase your risk of lung disease. If you were exposed to any of the substances listed in our website, it is even more important that you quit smoking.

Nutrition and Fitness

Eat properly and get regular exercise. For more advice about nutrition and fitness, look for screenings at hospitals, YMCA's, senior centers, and nutrition centers.

Medications Screening

Review expiration dates, interactions, and side effects of your medications. Take all your medications to your doctor, nurse, pharmacists, or HMO for review and advice.
