The Hanford Building Trades Medical Screening Program is funded by Grant No. DE-FC03-96SF21262 from the U.S. Department of Energy to the above consortium led by CPWR — The Center for Construction Research and Training, Washington, DC.

Section 3162 of the 1993 Defense Authorization Act directed the Department of Energy (DOE) to initiate programs to evaluate the health of former DOE defense nuclear facility workers.
