Why You Should Be Tested and Examined
You may have been exposed to one of the hazards listed below while at Hanford. If so, you should be tested and examined to evaluate your current health and your future risk of disease.

By giving you an examination and tests, we may be able to tell if your health has been affected. If your results indicate, you may be offered ongoing periodic medical monitoring for the duration of the program.
Although the DOE will pay only for the first screening, assistance in the referral of medical care, if needed, is available.
You also should be tested and examined if you worked at least 5,000 hours at Hanford and you or your physician believe you may have developed a health problem as a result of your work there.
