Environmental Hazard Protection Training

CPWR provides training for construction workers whowill be doing hazardous waste clean-up, lead or asbestos abatement, permit-required confined space entry, or disaster clean-up, or for those who may be exposed to chemical or biological hazards on the job.

CPWR’s training mission is to ensure that trades people have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to protect themselves, their co-workers, their families and communities, and the environment when working around environmental hazards.

Students actively participate in the training. Experienced instructors lead small-group classroom activities, including safe and practical hands-on activities, especially in the areas of hazard recognition, personal protective equipment, decontamination, work practices, and monitoring principles.
