The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), and CPWR – The Center for Construction Research and Training (CPWR) established the r2p Working Group in 2010.
Our Vision: Widespread adoption of effective research-driven safety and health interventions and practices on construction job sites to protect and improve the lives of workers and their families.

- Translating research findings into practical applications and in appropriate language and formats;
- Broadly disseminating research-based findings to construction audiences;
- Facilitating relationships and exchange between researchers and construction stakeholders; and
- Driving demand, availability, and use of safety and health interventions and practices to eliminate construction worker fatalities and reduce injury and illness.
