CPWR continues to expand our resources to help construction employers and workers take necessary precautions to keep safe during the coronavirus pandemic.
We have just launched the free COVID-19 Exposure Control Planning Tool, which is designed to help users develop a plan for their work site in four steps. It supports supports construction stakeholders in responding the the CDC and OSHA recommendations that companies create a plan to protect their employees and prevent the spread of COVID-19. Now in a soft launch, feedback is welcome — send your comments to firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are now more than 250 resources in the CPWR COVID-19 Construction Clearinghouse, which we established to give our industry easier access to reliable, current information. It also highlights resources on crucial topics such as Guidance on Workplace Practices, State and Local Requirements, Training Resources, and many others. The materials from other organizations that were previously on this page have been moved to the Clearinghouse. If you know of materials that should be considered for the Clearinghouse, particularly innovative practices and equipment being used on job sites to prevent the spread of COVID-19, please click here or email us at email@example.com. Our staff will follow up to learn more.
CPWR and NABTU have also issued the COVID-19 Standards for U.S. Construction Sites, national standard for infectious disease exposure control practices for job sites designed to prevent disease, disability and death. They are available in English and Spanish. Also available is a Toolbox Talk in English and Spanish.
For Union Training Centers, CPWR has put out Recommendations for a COVID-19 Plan. This is a living document and will be updated regularly.
