General Awareness Training
COMPASS has developed toolbox talks and a 1-hour presentation to support implementation of an effective suicide prevention program. Organizations can use them to provide background and raise awareness on suicide among construction workers, including factors that lead to the industry’s disproportionately high suicide rate; to help training participants recognize warning signs; and to highlight how workers can help colleagues who are struggling.
